The National Cycling Velodrome, Trinidad & Tobago

Trinidad and Tobago’s spanking new velodrome hosts the 2016 Junior Pan American Championship.  The opening of Pan Ams was held on Saturday, 27th August at Balmain, Couva.  Patrons were treated to male and female Team Pursuit and Team Sprint.  As an avid cycling spectator, I was super excited to attend. I’ve been waiting with bated breath to step inside the velo and this opportunity was a great treat.

As soon as I arrived at the venue I could feel the energy.  Commentator Ronald Dickie was his usual best, which always seems to set the tone and the young ones put on a fab show. The Junior Pan Ams is on for 5 nights, so be sure to get in on the action! A huge shoutout to all responsible for putting on this event. My only suggestion would be more marketing of such events pleaseeeee.

Here are some photos..

Love, light and longevity,

Dee
