Yoga at the park

I won’t say I’m thatttttt flexible, but I can do a lil thing. Being the true introvert that I am, I wasn’t about to just jump in a class, so over the years I’ve been going to my BFF (YouTube) for classes.  Naturally, as with most things I do (not ashamed to say) that didn’t last, because I tend to get bored really quickly.  Flash forward to this year when I changed gyms and boom…yoga classes.  Shoutout to my new gym!

The experience so far has been wonderful. I feel more aware and I’m trying to increase my thoughtfulness. Yoga has played a big part in hightening awareness of my body and also what surrounds me. My wonderful instructor Ved takes time to explain each move and what it does for the body.

On August 28th, 2016, Ved held a free yoga session at Palmiste Park in San Fernando.  It was refreshing being outdoors as I’ve never done yoga outside.  As cliche as this may sound, it sorta made me feel more one with the earth.  I was hoping to have some footage for you guys but I had technical difficulties, as I’m still trying to figure out my new camera. After the class, we were invited up to the Anugraha Studio for refreshments, which is located just opposite the park.  Ved plans to have another free class in November.  You can check out his page on Facebook for his schedule HERE . A huge thank you goes out to Ved for his amazing work and generosity.

So “she leaves” Yoga at the Park, but hopefully she returns…
